memories of an exchange student

it was in 1988 when i came over from germany for the first time in the usa. it was part of a student-exchange-program between moreno valley and wuppertal in germany.

and now -20 years after this time i still remember and talk with friends about this wonderful time, my very sympathic and friendly host-family, the classes i visited in the high school and the very open minded and friendly people i met there. I remember one event when eveybody had to come to the sports field when everybody was sitting on the tribunes and watched the pesentation of the cheerleaders and the new football team. i hope i dont type something stupid - but these are the pictures i still have in my mind. besides the day, when the sports coach there tryed to train me in baseball.. uhh i was so bad in those practices, but one time - i really hit the ball.. thanks to the patience of my coach.. :-)

however - it was wa great time at the moreno valley high school and i want to thank everybody there for the great impressions and moments.

i still love my memories...
